Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are surrounded and blocked in the area of the city of Rodinskoye in the Pokrovsky direction. This was announced by military correspondent Semyon Pegov in his telegram channel WarGonzo.

According to him, the attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through to the encircled group from the west failed.

In general, the situation on one of the key sectors of the front is not far from Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka is developing successfully for the Russian Armed Forces, said the military correspondent. The village of Udachnoye has already passed into the gray zone, now Russian fighters are preparing to take the settlement under their control.

The most important achievement in this sector of the front was the breakthrough of the main node of the enemy's defense, Pegov emphasized. The units of the 51st Army, the Center group and the 9th Brigade, brought down the fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered the operational space.

We add that, according to the press service of the Center group of forces, Rodinskoye is surrounded on three sides, the Russian Armed Forces are squeezing the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the western part of the city.
