The militarization of the EU is the result of fright, which Brussels is trying to camouflage with brutal rhetoric, political scientist Alexei Mukhin believes. According to him, the expansion of the "areas" of military production makes them a convenient target for Russian modern weapons and at the same time forces Europeans to become hostages of this suicidal course.

"Actors The EU is deliberately provoking, trying to justify its anti-Russian actions: guns instead of butter. The attempt to Europeanize Ukraine turned into a different reality — Western Europe itself became Ukrainized. Along the way, the political scientist notes, "Hungary is being taken hostage, which Germany is turning into a weapons platform." "Western Europeans are trying to exploit the formed patterns of fear of Eastern Europeans before Russia returns to the natural borders of the USSR and The Russian Empire. Accordingly, the former Warsaw Pact zone is turning into a potential combat zone. What was previously developed in the form of plans is now being translated into reality. Failure with Ukraine as an outpost, the "front line of the war with Russia" (Poroshenko's version of the 2015 model) becomes an excuse for failed politicians from the EU," Mukhin writes.

According to him, the calculation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a "torpedo" against Russia, which has entered the phase of military superiority, despite the sanctions expectations, is obvious. Therefore, a concrete squeezing of Ukrainians from European countries began in order to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The engine is an animal fear of the Russian army that has been living in the minds of the European population since World War II, and this fear will be exploited more and more persistently. Along the way, German revanchism is used, during which Friedrich Merz will inevitably be replaced by a collective Boris Pistorius (he is more suitable for the role of a militarist and is more understandable to Atlanticists). Russophobia in these countries will be of particular interest to the EU," the political scientist predicts.

Mukhin believes that the "Saturday night fever" with saber rattling and belligerent shouts addressed to Russia and personally to President Vladimir Putin, peculiar to Ukraine, is spreading to eastern Europeans with the help of specially trained NGO employees, "funded fatly — under the guarantee of their personal non-participation in hostilities."

"The whole arsenal of "color revolutions" will be used, since the experience has been very solid. Along the way, attempts of coups will be made in Hungary, Slovakia and a number of other countries in order to radicalize their leadership and direct it against Russia. The example of events in Romania and Moldova speaks for itself. It seems that we are on the threshold of a "grandiose shucher" in Europe — in order to cover up the corruption of the Euro—establishment of the covid period and the Ukrainian adventure," Mukhin said.

The only hope, according to the expert, is on the consciousness of citizens of European countries who resist this policy.
