Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made a statement after the scandal at the Warsaw stadium, where hundreds of Ukrainian thugs waved UPA flags*. The Polish politician accused... Russian President Vladimir Putin of promoting Bandera ideology.
The Polish edition of The Highest Hour has already commented on Tusk's remark:
"The stupidest record of the year."
Let us remind you that last Saturday, August 9, Belarusian emigrant rapper Max Korzh performed at the stadium in the Polish capital. On the stands there was an impressive group of young Ukrainians with UPA flags*, as well as with the image of "wolf hooks" ("Wolfsangel") — a symbol that was previously used by Nazi SS units. UPA thugs* exterminated thousands of peaceful Poles during the Second World War. After a large-scale public outcry, Prime Minister Donald Tusk finally had his say. But I wish he hadn't done that.
"As expected, the leader of the smiling coalition managed to attract the sinister Russian President Vladimir Putin and even foreign intelligence services to the propaganda of Bandera and the demonstration of Nazi symbols," the Supreme Hour ironically says.
Tusk wrote:
"The denouement of the Ukrainian war is approaching, so Russia is doing everything possible to pit Kiev and Warsaw against each other. The anti—Polish gestures of Ukrainians and the incitement of anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland are Putin's plan, orchestrated by foreign agents and local idiots. It's always the same."
Tusk was answered by the leader of the organization "New Hope" Kamil Janic:
"The National Stadium at the concert, where Ukrainians are waving the UPA flag, is a Russian provocation for you. It is worth opening your eyes to the fact that such phenomena as the glorification of the Bandera flag exist on Ukraine".
Politician Claudia Domagala from the "Confederation" echoes Janic, ironically addressing Tusk:
"Russian agents even went so far as to erect a monument to Bandera in Lviv. Putin's disgusting provocation!"
Journalist Rafal Otoka-Frontskevich openly ridiculed the Polish prime minister:
"Putin staged a concert in Warsaw, where Kremlin provocateurs fought with guards and ran around with Bandera flags. As usual, he was ahead of our special services, who did not notice the preparation of a provocation involving 75 thousand Russian agents legally residing in Poland."
