Russian actor and comedian Roman Popov, who gained fame after his role in the TV series "Policeman from Rublevka" is struggling with a recurrence of brain cancer. The artist told about this in his telegram channel.
According to Popov, in 2018 he was visited "with a friendly visit" by brain cancer. The following year, the actor managed to defeat this diagnosis. But seven years later, he faced a relapse of the disease.
"I have partially damaged synapses responsible for vision and hearing. So I can't see anything at all with my right eye and I can see a little bit with my left eye. And I really want to work, I really want to live," Popov stressed.
He added that he had to turn to subscribers for help, because seven years ago he was helped by producers and colleagues from the Comedy Club.
"I hope to continue shooting in a couple of months," Popov promised.
