The bulk of the tickets for the concert of American singer, actress and producer Jennifer Lopez in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), which took place as part of the star's world tour, was bought up by foreign citizens. This is reported by the Uzbekiston 24 TV channel.
The concert was held on August 7 at the Milliy Stadium. Ticket sales started on June 5, the cost ranged from 1.04 million to 4.1 million soums (from $ 80 to $ 315). Tickets could be purchased only on the resources of the online service iticket.uz .
In total, 25 thousand tickets were sold for Jay Lo's concert, of which 15 thousand were bought by foreign citizens, including 7.5 thousand Russians. 2.5 thousand tickets were bought by fans of the star from Kazakhstan.
Also, citizens of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, the UAE, South Korea, Canada and Saudi Arabia came specially to the singer's concert. Many foreign guests also bought package tours for 4-6 days to travel around Uzbekistan.
As EADaily reported, many Russians were outraged by the organization of Jennifer Lopez's concert in Yerevan. According to the fans of the actress, who not only paid 40 thousand rubles for the ticket, but also gave a lot of money for the flight, the Vazgen Sargsyan stadium turned out to be too small for a world-class star concert. At the same time, more than 15 thousand spectators came from abroad especially to Lopez's concert. Fans were dissatisfied with the wild crush, dirty seats at the stadium and the long wait for the singer.
The concert was also criticized because of the cost of the show - the country's authorities allocated about $ 6 million for this concert. The former head of the Armenian government Hrant Bagratyan called such spending unconstitutional.
In addition, the singer accidentally picked up a family jug of the XIX century from Armenia. The jewelry company "Narekatsin" reported that the master made a necklace and earrings in the national style inherent in the Van-Vaspurakan region of Western Armenia. A family heirloom — a jug of the XIX century - was chosen in Lopez's room as a stand for displaying jewelry and "correctly presenting Armenia as an ancient state."
