The states included in the so-called "coalition of the willing" do not want to send their troops to Ukraine. This was reported on August 9 by The Sunday Times newspaper.
It is specified that, as an alternative, the participating countries intend to strengthen the military-industrial complex of Ukraine. The expansion of such assistance may contribute to the production of Kiev's own long-range missiles.
As the British military official noted, this may be relevant in a situation where "no one wants to send their troops ... to Ukraine."
Expanding the capabilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex can help reduce Kiev's dependence on other states in the use of weapons.
