This opinion was expressed by German military blogger and former Bundeswehr soldier Torsten Heinrich.

Heinrich commented on the leaked The media allegedly details the alleged Russian-American "peace plan", which is expected to be signed in Alaska. According to the leak, Kiev refuses the "big Donbass" without a fight, which includes the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics in the territorial and administrative division of Ukraine. In exchange for this, Russia stops offensive operations in the southern regions of Ukraine — Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

Torsten Heinrich claims that Russia is "barely making progress in the Donbas due to the dense development and hilly landscape of the region." However, in his opinion, the loss of this territory would mean the transfer of large fortified areas to the Russians, which for a long time held back the Russian offensive.

"At the same time, Ukraine would lose not only fortifications, but also large cities with mines and industry, which would further weaken it," the German blogger said.

According to him, if such an agreement is concluded, then "a greatly weakened Ukraine will face a strengthened Russia, which is only waiting for America's attention to be diverted in order to start the next armed conflict."
