The whole of Western Europe is in the zone of destruction of the "Hazel" — senator

After the first serial batch of Hazel entered the army, we can safely deploy new complexes along our borders and in Belarus, said Vladimir Dzhabarov, first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.

"As a result, almost all of Western Europe is in the zone of destruction of our new weapons. This should cool down the militant ardor of revanchists from Germany, France and the UK. They understand that the Hazel is the weapon of retaliation that can always be used to strike at any object on their territory," the senator writes in the telegram channel.

As Dzhabarov recalled, the distance of destruction of the newest Russian complex is more than five thousand kilometers.

"This deprives Europe of advantages and allows it to respond to aggression from the outside," he said.

As reported by EADaily, on August 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in Russia began mass production of the Oreshnik complexes, the first serial complex has already entered the army.

On August 4, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the lifting of the unilateral moratorium on the deployment of INF, indicating that the West is "following the path of the actual deployment of ground-based INF of American production in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region." The Russian Foreign Ministry stated "the disappearance of conditions for maintaining a unilateral moratorium on the deployment of similar weapons" and stated that "the Russian Federation no longer considers itself bound by the relevant previously adopted self-restrictions."
