Special Envoy of the President of the United States Stephen Witkoff and the head of the RDIF, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for economic cooperation with foreign countries Kirill Dmitriev took a walk in Zaryadye Park in Moscow on the morning of August 6, TASS reports.
Earlier, Dmitriev met Witkoff at Vnukovo airport.

The day before, Trump said that the issue of measures to force Russia to a peaceful settlement in Ukraine will be resolved after negotiations between Special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff and the Russian side on August 6.
"Tomorrow we will have meetings with Russia. Let's see what happens… The US will later decide whether to impose large-scale duties on The Russian Federation and its trading partners, the steps will depend on tomorrow's talks in Moscow," he said.
Witkoff's visit to Moscow today is the fifth in a row, before that he had already held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin four times.
On July 14, Trump announced an ultimatum to Russia, indicating that the United States would impose import duties of approximately 100% on Russia and its trading partners if, within 50 days, Moscow and Washington will not come to an agreement on the settlement of the Ukraine. On July 29, Trump announced that he had decided to reduce this period to 10 days. On August 5, Trump noted that the United States would later decide whether to impose the mentioned import duties. According to him, the next steps of the United States will depend on the outcome of the upcoming talks of his special envoy Steven Witkoff in Moscow.
