Property worth 1.5 billion: during the divorce of comedians, the budget of the Russian Federation did not receive a large sum

The Ministry of Justice asks to collect the missing 582 thousand rubles from the state budget for the examination, which was carried out as part of the division of property during the divorce of comedians, People's Artist of the RSFSR Yevgeny Petrosyan and Honored Artist of Russia Elena Stepanenko. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the case documents.

The Russian Federal Forensic Examination Center named after Professor A.R. Shlyakhov under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation conducted two forensic examinations in the framework of the case on the division of Petrosyan's property and Stepanenko. The cost of one of them — 7.5 million rubles — was divided equally between the former spouses and fully paid, as well as other examinations.

However, for the second examination in the specified center at a cost of 1,132 million rubles, only half of the amount was received — 550 thousand rubles, which Petrosyan transferred to the budget. Representatives of the Ministry of Justice appealed to the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow to recover the missing 582 thousand rubles.

From whom exactly the Ministry of Justice demands to recover the lost funds, the documents do not specify. Lawyers for the parties declined to comment.

As reported by EADaily, Stepanenko and Petrosyan divorced in 2018 after 33 years of marriage. Only by the summer of 2021, the couple managed to reach an agreement on the division of property, which, according to media reports, is estimated at 1.5 billion rubles.

Stepanenko, after a high-profile divorce, ended her career on the stage, and in February of this year she closed her legal entity. According to Stepanenko's friend, the performer of comic couplets Mikhail Vashukov, she left Russia, but periodically returns to Moscow.
