"At about five in the morning, near the hotel where our team lives, unknown people launched several firecrackers, then disappeared. And today a small group staged a mini-picket at the Sports Palace with provocative posters," the national team told TASS.
The guards practically did not respond to this, they stressed.
"Let us remind you that the World Fencing Championships are held in Georgia from 22 to 30 July. The International Federation (FIE) allowed 37 Russian athletes to compete in neutral status. The national team of Ukraine also participates in the championship.
