In the area of the village of Novoselka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian military destroyed a platoon of the 31st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a high-explosive aerial bomb (FAB).
According to the TASS news agency, earlier the servicemen of this Ukrainian unit in full force deserted from their positions near the village of January.
"In the area of Novoselovka, they caught up with a platoon of the 31st Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which deserted from the January one," a source in the law enforcement agencies told the publication.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not yet commented on this information.
