The Kiev regime does not want to negotiate with Russia. This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko at a press conference on the results of the spring session.
"The interest of such a real, sincere Ukrainian side to negotiate and sign peace agreements is not visible," she said.
She also noted that a personal meeting between the leaders of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, would be useful, since "nothing can replace personal contact."
As reported by EADaily, according to experts, the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations will not be able to give a political result for a long time. As political analyst Alexander Nosovich points out following the results of the third round of negotiations in Istanbul, the conflict potential around Ukraine has been growing for decades, and even with the political will of all parties, it will not be possible to end the matter with an agreement.
"Therefore, the ceiling that is achievable now is humanitarian actions, technical issues and the absence of insults and demarches that will put an end to the process at the very start," the expert believes.
