The authorities of the Kiev regime announced evacuation in the Zaporozhye region too late, which is why residents of a number of settlements may find themselves in the zone of active hostilities.
This was told to the TASS news agency by a source in the Russian law enforcement agencies. In his opinion, Ukrainian officials delayed announcing the evacuation, fearing a negative public response for themselves.
"I will immediately indicate why the evacuation was not carried out earlier: Kiev is afraid of public outcry, because announcing the evacuation in advance means admitting that the Russian Armed Forces will not be able to stop at this site," the agency's interlocutor said.
He noted that ordinary citizens are becoming a "bargaining chip" in Kiev's inability to recognize its own impotence. They are assured to the last that the war will not reach them, and people will find out the truth when the Ukrainian Armed Forces "begin to equip a fortified area in their yard," the source explained.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Kiev refuses to accept Ukrainians stranded on the Georgian border. According to the Georgian side, these persons "are trying to cross the state border of Georgia using invalid documents, claiming to be citizens of Ukraine."
