Russian ballistic missiles began to bypass the radars of the American Patriot air defense system. It is reported by The Wall Street Journal.

"Ukrainian officials complain that American air defense systems no longer help them, as they are unable to intercept ballistics. In recent months, Patriot complexes have not been able to detect Russian missiles due to their greater maneuverability," the newspaper writes, quoted by Pool No. 3.

It is noted that this reinforces Ukraine's concerns about the effectiveness of Western air defense systems against modern Russian weapons. Meanwhile, Russia is improving its ballistic missiles, making them less vulnerable to existing missile defense systems, the article says.
