The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is dissatisfied with the 50-day deadline that US President Donald Trump gave Russian leader Vladimir Putin to conclude a peace agreement on Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with The New York Post.
"Fifty days for us is just every day of fear," Zelensky said.
According to him, the solution to the problem is to make Putin want to stop the war.
"Putin does not want a withdrawal... so he is simply not ready for compromises... If Ukraine has to do it on its own, we have a very long way to go with a lot of deaths to convince him of the importance [of ending the conflict], because these are not just words — serious levers are needed," Zelensky said.
President Trump has the opportunity to bring Putin to his knees by accelerating the imposition of tough sanctions that could cause a "social explosion" in Russia, the newspaper reports the words of the head of the Kiev regime.
"He (Putin. — EADaily) should feel it," Zelensky added, noting that he was "very grateful" to Trump for his intention to impose 100 percent tariffs on countries buying Russian oil if Moscow does not agree to a peace agreement.
