There is nothing to talk about: the presenter of the First channel offended the residents of the whole city of Russia

The author and permanent host of the television program "Clever and clever", MGIMO professor Yuri Vyazemsky spoke rather sharply about those who live in Lipetsk. This is reported by the portal "TOP68".

Earlier, Vyazemsky took part in the recording of the program "It was in Penkov" on the New Century TV channel. Among other things, the TV presenter said: "If you are a fool, live in Lipetsk." True, Vyazemsky cut himself off in mid-sentence and quickly noted that he had said "something wrong." He also answered the thesis of the presenter Vladimir Penkov that Lipetsk was previously part of the Tambov province.

"That's when you return Lipetsk to Tambov province, then we'll talk," Vyazemsky joked.

The publication notes that the Lipchans found Vyazemsky's words offensive and even boorish, including the proposal to join Tambov.

The TV presenter of that program had to apologize for the Moscow guest.

"The guest of the studio, the phrase he interrupted in mid-sentence, apparently arose in a polemical fervor. I regret that the words said in a joking way hurt the self-esteem of the residents of Lip. I apologize," Penkov stressed.

Vyazemsky himself believes that in this case there is nothing to talk about, there was no incident.

"I'm at a complete loss, because I can't understand why I ran into Lipetsk, what I'm accused of… Why did I scold them? I didn't scold them," the TV presenter told the RBC portal.

He stressed that now you can mount anything you want.

"There is nothing to talk about, but we are talking," concluded Vyazemsky.

Let's remind, the program "Clever and clever" has been on Channel One since 1992. In fact, this is the All-Russian humanitarian Olympiad in the format of a television program. Vyazemsky, who created the project and has been leading it all these years, has the informal title of "Brainiac".
