The period of 50 days allotted to Russia by US President Donald Trump to reach a deal on Ukraine is not very long. He told reporters about this at the White House.
"I don't think 50 days is a very long time. This is (a deal. — Ed.) can be achieved earlier," said Trump, quoted by RIA Novosti.
He added that it would be "too bad" if a deal on Ukraine could not be reached in these 50 days. Trump threatened to impose duties and "other sanctions" in this case.
As reported by EADaily, the tougher stance of US President Donald Trump towards Russia is commendable, but the deadline for his ultimatum to Russian leader Vladimir Putin has been delayed. This was stated to journalists by the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, the BBC reported.
So she commented on Trump's statement that if the Ukrainian conflict is not resolved within 50 days, the United States will impose 100% duties on The Russian Federation and its trading partners.
