The resolution of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation says that Khrushchev's report "contains falsified facts and false accusations against Stalin, distorts the truth about his state and party activities," the Interfax news agency reports.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation proposed to rename Volgograd to Stalingrad, and the Volgograd region to Stalingrad. Recall that in April Volgograd airport was renamed Stalingrad.

This is how he responded to the corresponding proposal of the meeting participants.

Recall, Vladimir Putin supported the request of veterans of the Volgograd region to assign the Volgograd airport the historical name Stalingrad. This was reported on the Kremlin's website.

The request of veterans, as well as participants in the special operation, was conveyed to the head of state by the governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov the day before.

Putin signed the decree "On assigning the historical name Stalingrad to Volgograd International Airport" shortly before midnight on the same day.
