Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko has denied reports that she was captured. She stated this in her telegram channel.
"They didn't kill me. I am not a prisoner. Free and alive," she said.
Savchenko called the information about her capture near Kupyansk a "Russian fake." Recall that this was announced the day before by a well-known Ukrainian journalist Vsevolod Filimonenko.
As EADaily reported on the eve, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko was captured near Kupyansk. This was stated by Filimonenko in a conversation with ex-Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk*.
According to Filimonenko, who referred to sources in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Savchenko participated in a night sortie of the 105 brigade of the TRO near the village of Sinkovka, Kharkiv region, where she commanded an assault company. During the attempt to retreat, the column of the Ukrainian military came under heavy fire from the Russian artillery, was cut off from the rest of the forces and communication with it was interrupted.
