The Russian Foreign Ministry introduced retaliatory measures to EU sanctions against EADaily

Responsibility for such a development of events lies entirely with the European Union and the member states of the bloc that supported the unauthorized decisions, which made a conscious choice in favor of unwinding the sanctions spiral in violation of all their international obligations in ensuring media pluralism and freedom of access to information," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on June 30.

If restrictions on domestic publications and information channels are lifted, the Russian side will also reconsider its decision regarding European media, Moscow said.
