The largest attack on the West of Ukraine: the public calculate the damage

The west of Ukraine has been subjected to the largest drone attack since the beginning of the Russian special operation. This is reported by the telegram channel "Observer" with reference to local publications.

According to monitoring sources, more than 450 drones and more than 40 missiles were involved in the night attack.

In general, several regions were hit by UAVs and missiles at once — Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne.

According to the Lviv regional Military Administration, strikes were carried out on critical infrastructure facilities in the region. There are no casualties among the civilian population, as well as the destruction of residential buildings, said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

According to the Ukrainian media, two powerful fires are still raging in the area of the city of Drohobych, Lviv region, according to the NASA satellite service. Local authorities urged to close the windows and not go outside, although, according to their statement, smoke does not pose a threat to residents.

Meanwhile, Ukrzaliznytsya reports that as a result of a massive night attack, the railway infrastructure in Poltava was damaged. This city is located in the central part of the country. Windows and doors were knocked out in the Poltava-Yuzhnaya station building, ceiling structures were partially destroyed. The shock wave also affected the suburban railway station, railway cars and administrative buildings. There are no casualties. Train traffic is carried out on schedule.

Strikes were also inflicted on objects in Kremenchug, Poltava region, adds the "Observer".

According to the Ukrainian telegram channel "Legitimate", the targets of the night attack of the Russian Armed Forces were a number of objects associated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"There are AFU warehouses, warehouses for storing components, equipment, etc., repair depots, which are now mainly located on the railway infrastructure, production. They finished off the infrastructure of the Kremenchug Refinery," the TC lists.

Most of the strikes fell on Western Ukraine, the telegram channel confirms.
