Advisor to the Supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei — ex-secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani appeared today at a farewell ceremony for officers and generals killed in an Israeli strike. This is reported by the Free Iran telegram channel with reference to local media.
Iranian media have distributed the corresponding photo of Ali Shamkhani, which was taken today in Tehran. He was noticeably haggard and leaned on a cane.
It is noted that this is the first public appearance of Shamkhani after a rocket attack on his residence on the first night of the 12-day war with Israel. Earlier, the media reported his death, but a few hours later, sources close to the government said that he was injured, but remained alive.
