The chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin called for an anti-corruption examination due to the requirement to use only liquid soap in schools and children's camps, criticizing Rospotrebnadzor for this decision.
"We have taken it now, introduced a standard, when soap was abolished in schools and children's camps, you now have only liquid soap, which already means that the structures should be, bubbles. And this is all a rise in price, increases the cost of maintenance. You think about what you are doing. It is clear that you have convinced everyone that household soap is harmful, it must be perfumed, with all these additives," Volodin said at the plenary session, addressing the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
Volodin also called for an anti-corruption expertise on this issue.
"Who is lobbying for this liquid soap?" added Volodin.
Today, the State Duma is hosting a "government hour" on the topic "On the protection of the health of schoolchildren and the development of physical culture and mass youth sports." The discussion was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev, Acting Minister of Education Alexander Bugaev, head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
