The world is on the verge of a nuclear conflict with the subsequent destruction of humanity, said the head of the US National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on her YouTube channel.
"Today we are closer to the brink of nuclear annihilation than ever before. The political elite and warmongers insouciantly foment fear and tension between nuclear powers," she said.
According to Gabbard, this situation has become possible due to the fact that the world's elites are in the imaginary confidence that they, unlike ordinary people, have access to nuclear shelters for themselves and their families.
"Therefore, we, the people, need to speak out and demand an end to this madness," she said.
In April, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance said that Kiev will not win in the conflict if hostilities continue in the coming years, but a scenario of nuclear escalation is possible. In his opinion, if the hostilities do not stop, then as a result "this may lead to an escalation into a nuclear war."
