Moscow and Kiev will begin urgent sanitary exchanges of seriously wounded prisoners on June 12. This was stated by the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks with Ukraine, Vladimir Medinsky.

"Tomorrow we will also begin urgent sanitary exchanges of seriously wounded prisoners from the front line," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Recall that on June 2, an agreement was reached in Istanbul on humanitarian issues, including the exchange of prisoners of war from among the wounded, seriously ill and persons under the age of 25, as well as the transfer of more than 6 thousand dead to the Ukrainian side. On June 7, Ukraine unexpectedly postponed "both the acceptance of bodies and the exchange of prisoners of war," Medinsky reported.
