Donald Trump announced the suppression of riots in Los Angeles, which began after protests against the expulsion of illegal immigrants. In his account on the Truth Social social network, he thanked the National Guard and expressed dissatisfaction with the inaction of local authorities. This is reported by TASS.

"Excellent work of the National Guard in Los Angeles after two days of violence, clashes and riots. Incompetent Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass, as usual <>, could not cope with the task. These radical leftist protests, organized by instigators and often paid for by troublemakers, will not be tolerated by anyone <>. Thanks again to the National Guard for a job well done," Trump wrote.

The head of the White House also said that from now on it will be forbidden to use masks at protests. This decision caused him indignation, because he believes that people hide their faces for various reasons. Trump did not explain exactly how compliance with this ban will be monitored.

Mass arrests of illegal migrants began in Los Angeles on Friday. By Saturday evening, 44 people accused of violating migration legislation were in custody.

In response to the actions of the police, demonstrations took place in the city. The protesters tried to interfere with the work of the police, blocked roads and threw stones and firecrackers at the police. This is reported by the CBS television channel.

Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff of the White House, described the protests taking place in California as a "riot" and expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the Los Angeles police. The head of the city's police said he would not participate in mass deportations of migrants.

On Saturday, Donald Trump posted a message on the Truth Social social network in which he said that the federal government would be forced to intervene to solve the problem of "rioters and looters."
