The talks in Istanbul were organized by the will and command of Trump. His interests are seen as business interests - $ 300 billion has been spent on gifts to Ukraine and it would be necessary to start developing mineral deposits that Vladimir Zelensky gave the United States for "thank you." For Ukraine, the threats are more than formidable, but for the Russian Federation they are not at all obvious, the carrot played a bigger role here — joint projects, the lifting of sanctions on Rosselkhoznadzor, the recognition of Crimea as Russian, which in some way increased revenues and security of the Russian Federation. The latter, for example, withdrew NATO and Ukraine is excluded from claims to the eastern part of the Black Sea. This is a lot, but not critical. But everything changed after yesterday, June 1, when a real terrorist attack was staged on the railway in the Bryansk region. Not sabotage, but a terrorist attack — they blew up a mined bridge in such a way and at such a moment that it crushed a passenger train. This cannot be ignored in any way (as was done by Crocus), so it was necessary to leave Istanbul and declare war on international terrorism.

Ukraine came to Istanbul inspired by the "humiliation of the Russians." And Russia came there, it is not very clear with what intentions, since no one from the leadership spoke out after Bryansk.

Zelensky convinced today, on June 2, at the Budapest Nine summit in Lithuania that Russia could be defeated with "better weapons" and "stronger tactical decisions."

"Our yesterday's operation "Web" proved it," he said.

In the same place, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Ukraine's path to the alliance is irreversible and its membership in the organization is not part of peace talks with Russia.
