An American mercenary complained that Kiev deprives foreigners of legal status, the Lomovka telegram channel reports.
"For more than 36 months of the conflict, laws, charters and guidelines have not been fixed for foreign citizens -servicemen of Ukraine. Tens of thousands of foreigners still have less legal status than those who are in the country on a study visa or residence permit," wrote Ryan O'Leary, an American mercenary in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, Ukrainian legislation has actually created a "caste system" among the military.
O'Leary also stated that his unit, the "Chosen Company," was ceasing operations and separating from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
