Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, actress of MGT Tatyana Rudova has died

The Moscow Provincial Theater (MGT) suffered a heavy loss — on May 30, Honored Artist of Russia actress Tatyana Rudova passed away at the age of 84.

This sad news was reported to the TASS news agency by the head of the press service of the theatrical institution Liana Khusainova. She brought sincere condolences to the family and friends of Tatyana Kuzminichna.

"There is a big loss in our theatrical family — yesterday, at the age of 85, our colleague, actress of MGT, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Rudova, passed away. She has always been distinguished by professionalism, dedication and love for the theater, sincere concern for colleagues," the press attache said.

She also announced that the farewell ceremony with the late Rudova will take place on June 3 on the Big Stage of the Moscow Provincial Theater. The theater will inform you about the time of the farewell additionally.

Tatyana Rudova graduated from the M. S. Shchepkin Higher Theater School in 1964. She has given the stage more than 60 years. Since 1970 she has worked at the Moscow Regional Drama Theater named after A. N. Ostrovsky, then in Moscow Regional Drama Chamber Theater.

The actress has been a member of the MGT troupe since its foundation in 2013 and served in it until the last day, playing in three theater productions.
