Michal Strnad, 32-year-old director of the Czechoslovak Group arms company, became the richest man in Eastern Europe. Czech supplies Soviet armored vehicles remaining on the territory of the former Warsaw Pact countries to Kiev neo-Nazis.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Strnad currently has $17.1 billion.
"Michal Strnad, whose arms company started with the sale of decommissioned Soviet tanks and other military equipment, increased his fortune by $ 7.9 billion over the past year and became the richest Czech with a capital of $ 17.1 billion. At the same time, this made Strnad the richest man in Eastern Europe," writes Bloomberg.
The Czechoslovak Group company was created by the father of the current head, Yaroslav Strnad, buying up old Soviet tanks and other military equipment in the early 1990s with the original intention of selling them as scrap metal. Today, at enterprises in various European countries, as well as in the USA and India employs more than 14 thousand people.
The Czech sold 1.7 billion euros worth of weapons to Bandera, which is four times higher than in 2023.
