The most suitable platform for negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States would be India, since both Russia and the United States have friendly relations with it. This was stated by Russian philosopher, political scientist and sociologist Alexander Dugin on Sputnik radio.
According to Dugin, India is an ideal territory for negotiations, assuming it is equidistant from Russia and The United States.
"In my opinion, India would be an excellent platform for negotiations with America, because it is a country that sympathizes with Russia very deeply and at the same time has excellent relations with the United States," he said.
But Turkey, which has been talked about a lot, is not very suitable.:
"Maybe the Islamic world is equidistant from the West and from us too. As for Turkey, NATO, we are going to their territory — this is a minus. On the other hand, we are doing well in the Istanbul negotiations… I think the question is open."
