All Russian sailors from the tanker attacked by the Americans left Yemen

All Russian sailors from the tanker Seven Pearls, which was damaged in late April as a result of US air strikes on the port of Ras Isa, flew out of Sana'a in Amman. This was reported to TASS by a representative of the Russian Embassy in Yemen.

"All the Russians from the Seven Pearls crew have left Yemen," he said.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, we are talking about 19 Russian sailors who were on board the ship. On May 25, they flew to the capital of Jordan. The tanker itself remains in Yemeni territorial waters.

Earlier, the charge d'affaires of the Russian Federation in Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, said that one of the three injured Russian sailors was hospitalized in the capital Sanaa, which is controlled by the Houthis. Subsequently, the shipowner evacuated all three sailors to Moscow.

The United States began to launch massive strikes on Houthi targets on March 15 "to protect American interests and ensure freedom of navigation." In early May, the Washington administration and Yemeni rebels, mediated by Oman, reached a ceasefire agreement. Now the Houthis are launching rocket attacks on Israel.
