Stand-up comedian, film actor and TV presenter Nurlan Saburov was detained at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was reported in law enforcement agencies.
He was fined 5 thousand rubles for violating the terms of his stay in Russia.
"Saburov was fined 5 thousand rubles under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. He must leave the country within the time limit set by law," the source told TASS.
The artist's manager declined to comment on the situation.
"We don't give any comments, I don't even know what's going on, I found out from the media myself, so I can't comment, unfortunately," he said.
Nurlan Saburov is a Kazakhstani comedian. He became widely known for his performances in the stand-up genre. He is one of the hosts of the show "What happened next?".
