Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov today, May 7, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"We expect that today the president will meet with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. A working meeting, the president continues to work with the regions. In addition, Kadyrov will take part in expanded talks with some delegations," Peskov said.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Kadyrov said that he had asked to resign from the post of head of Chechnya, but it was not he who made the decision, but the country's supreme commander-in-chief, President Vladimir Putin.
