The fate of the family remains unknown, rescuers have not yet been able to get close to the crash site of the vessel. The couple flew all over the country on a private plane, this time they planned a route Omsk — Irkutsk — Kamchatka — Sakhalin — Primorye. The couple was supposed to land at the Novorossia airfield in Primorsky Krai this morning, but the plane crashed about 30 km from it.
Sergey Fedorov worked in the aviation of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for more than 20 years, graduated from the Syzran Higher Military Aviation School, and during his career rose to the rank of commander of an aviation unit. Fedorov was awarded the Order of the Red Star and other medals.
According to the Omsk media, before the flight to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spouses were warned about bad weather conditions on their route, but they still took off. There is no exact information about their fate yet. The Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office began checking the circumstances of the incident.
