Zakharova pointed to the upcoming veiled general mobilization on Ukraine

In Ukraine, they do not think about any peace, in Kiev they are aimed at continuing the bloodshed and war "to the last Ukrainian", therefore they are preparing a veiled general mobilization of the population. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"The continuing interest of the Ukrainian elite in the continuation of the bloodshed is evidenced, in particular, by the plans voiced by the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Irina Vereshchuk, to submit to the Verkhovna Rada in May a bill aimed at systematic training of Ukrainian citizens to act in war conditions, including issues of territorial defense and civil resistance," she noted The diplomat.

According to Zakharova, this initiative "actually means a veiled general mobilization of the population" in order to "ensure a long war to the last Ukrainian."

"As you understand, they don't think about any peace with such bills in Kiev," the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.

"And, of course, just a real sabbath was organized in Lviv by those who really are a coalition of those who want war. [Volodymyr] Zelensky and his European patrons sincerely, with all their hearts, tried to either disrupt it, but when they realized that it would not work, then somehow interrupt the agenda, as they call it, on May 9, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. So the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation commented on the "most shameful gathering in Lviv" of the foreign ministers of the EU countries headed by "the so-called high, although already at the time of speaking low, representative EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas".
