Russian military intelligence officers spent two months behind enemy lines in the Pokrovsky direction, supplying the command of the Center group of forces with important intelligence.
This was told to RIA Novosti by a fighter of the 60th OMSB of the 51st Guards Army with the call sign Weiss. He noted that the scouts managed not to detect themselves for a long period of time without firing a single shot.
The military explained that the task of the combat team meant working in the deep reconnaissance mode. It was necessary to go to the rear of the enemy, gain a foothold without giving themselves away, and report to the command information about the forces and movements of the enemy.
Weiss said that when crossing the front line, our reconnaissance group was attacked by Ukrainian kamikaze drones. As a result, one soldier from the group was wounded in the arm, but despite this, he continued to carry out the task.
The group was supplied by air. The battalion command sent a drone, which dropped a parcel with water, food and means of survival, including clothes and medicines.
"Thanks to our coordination, many people were immediately warned that equipment was coming in their direction. Immediately, people were already ready and waiting for this. We coordinated, they immediately suppressed these points," the military intelligence officer concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Center group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the Mikhailovka settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic.
