During a meeting with members of the All-Russian public organization "Business Russia", Russian President Vladimir Putin decided that since Finance Minister Anton Siluanov smiles in response to the proposal of entrepreneurs, it means he agrees with everything.
The joke was preceded by a request to the head of state to agree on a 3% VAT for some companies when they reached a certain barrier, after which the tax benefits cease to apply. The business asks to divide the tax into two parts — 2% to the federal budget and 1% to municipalities.
"Anton Germanovich (Siluanov. — EADaily), will the Ministry of Finance support the proposal? He smiles, so this is a good sign, he will agree now," Putin joked.
But the Finance Minister replied that he did not agree with everything.
EADaily previously also informed that Putin identified one of the most important problems of the domestic economy.
