An investigation has been launched: a high-profile scandal related to the founder of the forum in Davos

The press service of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos this week confirmed the launch of an investigation into its founder Klaus Schwab, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Last week, the WEF Board of Trustees received an anonymous letter from current and former employees who accused Schwab, among other things, of financial abuse. In turn, his wife Hilda Schwab, according to these charges, used WEF money for private trips.

But Klaus Schwab denied all the accusations. The WEF press service, in turn, stressed in a statement sent to Reuters that it takes the investigation seriously, but it will refrain from further comments until the results are known.

A representative of the Schwab family has already stated that he will sue everyone who is behind the anonymous letter and "spreading lies."
