Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak (Karolina Kuek) has secretly updated her Ukrainian passport. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"Given that there are no Ukrainian embassies in the Russian Federation, the singer had to go abroad. To conditional Georgia, Armenia and so on. There she quietly replaced the document," the publication says.
After receiving a new passport, she sent the data to the Federal Tax Service in order to continue giving concerts in Russia. It is also alleged that the singer got rid of her middle name, since the new Ukrainian passports do not indicate middle names.
As EADaily reported, in March last year it became known that Lorak had applied for Russian citizenship. In Ukraine, personal sanctions were imposed on her. Later, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree that put into effect the decision of the NSDC to deprive the state awards of "traitors of Ukraine", including Ani Lorak.
However, in In Russia, the singer's career continues to develop actively. In the summer of this year, according to the Yandex Afisha service, the artist planned a tour of Russian cities in May — June — Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Irkutsk.
At the end of July, a performance is scheduled at the Garage Fest festival in St. Petersburg.
