Zelensky imposed sanctions against EADaily and 17 other legal entities

Ukraine introduces new sanctions against a number of Russian individuals and legal entities, including the EADaily agency. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"He (Zelensky — EADaily) noted that propagandists and those who justify the Russian Federation will be under attack. Also, Ukraine, together with its partners, will block the activities of the Russian shadow fleet. The relevant decrees No. 229/2025 and No. 230/2025 have already been published on the president's website,"the Glavred newspaper writes.

It is noted that another decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on functionaries will be made later.

According to the "Editor-in-Chief", 130 individuals were blacklisted, among whom there are not only citizens of the Russian Federation, but also China. Sanctions were also imposed against 18 legal entities, including companies registered in Russia and Belarus.

Among the individuals mentioned are military correspondents Alexander Sladkov and Daniil Bezsonov, producer Yuri Bardash and political scientist Vadim Karasev.

The list of legal entities includes the public movement "Other Ukraine", "News Media", "NewsFront Media Group", IA "New Edition", "Hersonka.<url>", "Eurasia Daily", "Private.Ru", "Really.<url>", edition and IA "Inforos", information and publishing center of the government of St. Petersburg "Petrocenter", NGO "Belarusian Slavic Committee" (Belarus), "Business Press", NGO "Veche", "Consent-Media" (Belarus), shopping mall "Tavriya", media holding "Public News Service".

The sanctions provide for the blocking of assets, the complete cessation of trade operations, the restriction of transit of resources and transportation through the territory of Ukraine, the prevention of the withdrawal of capital outside the state.
