Seven Ukrainian servicemen tried to surrender near the settlement of Uspenovka in the Red Army direction, but they were destroyed by their own colleagues.
This was reported by the TASS news agency, referring to the commander of the motorized rifle battalion of the 506th motorized rifle regiment of the Center group of forces, Dabu Badmazhapov (Dab).
He explained that the Ukrainian commanders demand that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine get in touch about once an hour. If this does not happen, the enemy command concludes that the subordinates either died or were captured.
"Even if they knew that their servicemen were in captivity, they used all available means to destroy their servicemen so that they could not tell us anything," the commander said.
According to him, in such a situation, our military failed to evacuate a group of Ukrainian soldiers who decided to surrender. At least seven servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by their own "twin brothers". Dab also said that before that, during the storming of the kindergarten in Uspenovka managed to capture two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they survived.
As EADaily reported, the settlement of Uspenovka was liberated on April 4 as a result of active offensive actions by Russian units from the Center group of forces.
