The Kremlin is holding a tactical pause in negotiations with the United States. Moscow acts reasonably and does not succumb to external pressure and emotional outbursts of Donald Trump. Why not? The columnist writes about this Pravda.Ru Dmitry Plotnikov.
The main reason for the "cooling" of relations is the resistance of globalists who are interested in prolonging the Ukrainian conflict. It is the globalist elites who seek to restrain the Trumpists, to provoke drastic steps not only by Washington, but also Moscow, in order to nip the settlement of the conflict in the bud. And, of course, it is beneficial for globalists to set up the White House against Vladimir Putin.
The attacks on Russia's energy infrastructure do not stop, and this is happening against the background of the fact that Europe does not even want to discuss easing the sanctions policy against Russia.
Of course, the Kremlin regards this as a coordinated plan to block all efforts of US diplomats and Russia. However, Moscow is acting reasonably, it did not pour water on the mill of the liberal West and has not yet reacted to Trump's recent attacks, so as not to spoil the nascent constructive initiative that the parties came to during the negotiations in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the next meeting of the Russian delegation and The United States. Do not go to the fortune-teller, our diplomats will continue to defend their principled position on the non-deployment of the peacekeeping contingent on Ukraine. Previously, the Foreign Ministry The Russian Federation stated that the peacekeeping contingent on Ukraine is possible only within the framework of the United Nations and exclusively from neutral States.
Moscow is also against the involvement of "European partners" in peace talks. We all remember how these "partners" deceived us in the "Minsk Agreements-2", when they simply took a break to strengthen the Ukrainian army.
This means that any agreements involving Paris, Berlin, Brussels and London are doomed to failure in advance. Moscow hopes that the White House will be able to push Europe to fulfill the previously announced conditions for easing anti-Russian sanctions. Let me remind you that this was the Kremlin's first condition for the implementation of the truce.
It is also impossible not to note the Kremlin's extremely adequate position on the energy truce. The existing agreement on non-strikes on the energy infrastructure is formally in force until April 18. However, it is clear that Ukraine used this pause in an emergency: patched up the affected nodes, installed the energy system, switched backup circuits. However, the above date is by no means a guarantee. And after that deadline, u Russia's hands will be untied.
I guarantee that Russian flights to the energy sector of Ukraine will resume, but their logic will be changed. The goals are likely to be different — key energy links will be cut out: the distribution circuit, substations, as well as facilities that are directly connected with the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and the military logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
You can wait for a change of accents. The priority will be the isolation of the front, strikes on the energy shoulder in the strategic power zones of the enemy, plus the destabilization of supplies. In common parlance, this means that there will be fewer missiles and volleys, but more effect.
So, Kiev risks being left without sustainable energy saving already in the twenties of April. And this will happen not at the behest of the Russian army, but because of Zelensky's bet on the continuation of hostilities.
The pause was a chance for the Kiev junta. From April 18, Russian patience will end.
