The Russian court ruled in favor of the border guards, who in October 2024 did not allow a 24-year-old Ukrainian woman who arrived at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport to enter the territory of Russia.
According to RIA Novosti, the reason for the refusal to cross the border was the contents of the girl's smartphone. Among the correspondence were statements discrediting the Russian military and citizens.
At the same time, even the fact that she has a residence permit (residence permit) and that she is on the tax register did not help the Ukrainian.
According to the newspaper, the girl decided to challenge the decision through the court, claiming that she has been living in Russia for a long time. Her statement states that during this period the person involved was not held accountable, complied with all laws, including migration.
However, the court ruled that the border guards acted within their authority, and identifying threats to Russia's security is their primary task. As a result, the claim was rejected.
