The bodies of foreign mercenaries without heads and hands were found in the Kursk region, said the deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resort to such measures to hide the identities of the dead, leaving them on the battlefield.
"We had such situations at the front when foreign mercenaries were destroyed, and at different sites the fighters of the Russian Ministry of Defense recorded cases when the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not take the bodies of these foreign mercenaries. They chop off their heads and hands so that they cannot be identified by fingerprints and faces," RIA Novosti quotes Alaudinov.
He said that such an incident was recorded last year in the Kursk region.
Earlier, Alaudinov said that the Russian military is conducting operations to evacuate the bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region. According to him, after death, soldiers are no longer considered enemies, their dignity must be preserved.
