The State Department expects "fantastic news for humanity." This was stated by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, commenting on today's talks between representatives of Washington and Kiev in Jeddah.
"It was a great day! A day that will mean a lot to people around the world when it comes to something important... we may have fantastic news for all of humanity. Therefore, we are very optimistic. I know that Secretary Rubio is so set up," said Bruce, quoted by Pool 3.
As reported by EADaily, the first round of today's negotiations between the United States and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia was dedicated to Kiev's proposal for a ceasefire at sea and in the air. This was reported by the Ukrainian Public television channel, citing a source familiar with the meeting.
