The Kremlin said that in Russia has prepared in advance for today's large-scale attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

All preparatory measures to repel today's large-scale attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russia, and in particular on Moscow and Near Moscow, were held in advance, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

"All measures and preparatory activities were carried out in advance, in advance. This just allows us to ensure the protection of Moscow, the Moscow region, as well as many other regions," Peskov told reporters at a briefing, quoted by TASS.

EADaily reminds that according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty last night, 91 of them over the territory of the Moscow region. The RF IC initiated a case of a terrorist attack. The Russian Ministry of Health indicated that as a result of the UAV attack in the Moscow region, 18 people were injured, including three children, two adults were killed.

The attack was carried out on the day of the visit to Moscow of the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Feridun Sinirlioglu and a few hours before the start of negotiations in Jeddah between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States. As stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, the attack of the UAV is a signal to the West about the madness of Kiev, and also indicates that Russia "takes its own on the battlefield."
