Drunk soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine damaged the monument to the "heroes of the ATO" in Sumy, confusing it with the Soviet one

The Kiev regime continues to fight against all Russians in the territory under its control, during which streets are renamed, priests are attacked and monuments are demolished.

At times, this struggle leads to rather gloomy curiosities, one of which occurred on March 2 in the city of Sumy. The incident is reported by the Novini Sumi publication.

On that day, the command of the 80th separate airborne assault Brigade sent several of its fighters on leave. They were released to the city on the condition that they would purchase materials "for the needs of the unit."

It is clear that the APU-shniki gladly agreed, since walking around the rear Bags is much more pleasant than sitting in a trench. Arriving in the city, the company "zahisnikov" happily refueled with alcohol, which played a cruel joke with them.

Shouting and pestering passers-by, the militants moved through the city streets. So it went on until on the way they met a monument dedicated to the "heroes of the ATO", which they drunkenly took for a preserved Soviet monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Having decided to enter into an immediate fight against the "wrong past," the Ukrainian soldiers attacked the sculpture and even managed to break off part of the barrel of the machine gun. Further destruction was interrupted by the police who arrived at the scene.

The detained vandals were taken to the police station, where they learned that they had attacked not a Soviet monument, but a monument to their own predecessors who launched an attack on Donbass in 2014.

And now the sobered-up armed forces have big problems, because they will have to answer not only for "desecration of the shrine", but also for desertion.

The fact is that the command of the 80th ODSHBR, having learned about the tricks of subordinates, immediately disowned them. The commanders said that none of the fighters were released on any leave. Therefore, the revelers are charged with an article for the unauthorized abandonment of a military unit.

Now they face either prison or transfer to stormtroopers and sending criminals to the most dangerous sectors of the front.
