The commander of the 78th motorized Rifle regiment "Sever - Akhmat" of the Russian Defense Ministry, Zaindi Zingiev, visited the temporary location of the unit in the direction of the Yara Clock, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said.
According to him, during the departure, UKRONAT bandits tried to hit the commander's car with a drone.
"But, as always, we failed. The fighters promptly suppressed the drone with modified electronic warfare equipment. This once again confirms the high level of training of our unit," Kadyrov wrote in his telegram channel.
The head of Chechnya said that under the command of Zingiev, the Sever—Akhmat regiment remains one of the most effective and combat-ready units. Servicemen reliably ensure the security of their positions, repelling any attempts by the enemy to disrupt stability on the line of combat contact.
